Had a very good experience there for a new years eve dinner. The service was friendly - professional and personable at the same time. The food was good and not pretentious. The appetizers were on the small side for the price, but the portions for the mains were very decent. The food was served hot, which is a huge win for me since some restaurants seem to wait for things to cool off a little before bringing it to your table. Parking was easy to find just outside the restaurant. (Street parking)

I had lunch here recently. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, lots of dark wood panelling and an old-school, heavy bar. The service was so good! The servers here are very experienced and did everything right. Okay, but we're really here for the food, right? Chef/Owner Herve brings his traditional French family recipes and they are so, so good! Everything here is made with attention to detail, and traditional French techniques. I especially loved the Fried Goat Cheese Salad, and the Bouillabaisse. The thing about this kind of food, is that it appears simple, but it's not. The technique that goes into making it is masterful. The french fries might be the best in the city, and the Chocolate Mousse.... Chef Herve also supports lots of local businesses, sourcing his produce locally, even growing some of it himself.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch here. Very relaxing as the place is quiet and not too busy. Excellent services and delicious food. Onion soup is very authentic. However, the waffles are a little too soft and chewy for our likings.

The food was so delicious ! The peppercorn sauce on the steak was the best I’ve ever had followed by a devilishly delicious chocolate mousse. ! Beautiful bistro style French restaurant. We can’t wait to go back and try their lunch menu.

I have lived on Main street for 4 years and only went to the French Table the first time on Valentine's day. I am really impressed with this restaurant. Excellent service. This is a well run restaurant with servers committed to giving you the best experience. Although it was a set menu, we were absolutely happy with our choices. I fear that Main street doesn't give this place the love it deserves because it isn't chasing all the fads of cuisine. You will feel very welcome here. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. If you ever put off going here, stop putting it off and go.

If you're looking for an authentic French dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit! I indulged in the classic mussels and fries, and it was absolutely amazing. The highlight of my visit, however, was the exceptional customer service. Our server, a friendly Colombian gentleman, truly enhanced the experience for me as a Spanish speaker. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, making everything feel even more special. I highly recommend checking it out!

Made it to a 7pm reservation during Dine Out Vancouver, was a wonderful dining experience! Our reservation was fairly short notice, and we were lucky to get in. Had the steak option, and it was excellent! One of the best Creme Caramel I've had outside of France, great atmosphere, and friendly staff and owner. Great place for well priced fine food on main! Merci Beaucoup!

Coming in for Saturday brunch, my only regret was not ordering their mussels and side of fries as I saw them being served to the table next to us. Although their brunch is delicious, and also very well presented, I think that French Table is enjoyed best for their lunch and dinner items. Comfortable for groups for up to 6 people. Very cozy atmosphere and good quality service. Wheelchair accessible, no stairs leading into the restaurant or bathrooms. Brunch wasn't busy but I'm sure that their evenings can be, so call in advance to book a table.
